Our former art teacher, Susan Blank, secured a grant in 2004 to create art work for the new SJH. The photographs below were taken by Susan as her students created mosaics under the guidance of artist Mauricio Robalino. The art work will be hung this summer throughout the new SJH. Next year students will find art in the main entrance, the library, the stairways and the commons entrance.

On a sad note, Ms Blank passed away in the fall of 2007 after a long battle with cancer. This art is her legacy to SJH and it will be dedicated to her memory. In addition, many of her friends and family have contributed to the BEST Scholarship fund for Bethel students in her memory. See Ms. Blank's Mosaic below.
